Revolut launches Robo Advisor in Spain

Revolut Bank has launched its own Robo Advisor service (automated portfolios) in Spain. This new product allows clients to save time and automate investments, customizing them to their needs, according to a press release.

Revolut's Robo Advisor helps clients invest in a diversified portfolio without spending hours researching and constantly managing the portfolio. The new product is especially useful for clients who don't have time to do extensive research and active investing, as well as those with limited or no trading experience.

The automated portfolio manager will recommend a fully diversified and customized portfolio based on the client's answers to questions that determine, among other things, their risk tolerance and financial goals. Once a client deposits money into their portfolio, Robo Advisor automatically invests it in the market and continuously monitors and manages the client's portfolio.

The minimum initial investment amount to access Robo Advisor is €100. Robo Advisor's annual portfolio management fee is 0.75% of the portfolio value and is charged monthly.

Clients can set up periodic transfers to the Robo Advisor portfolio to take full advantage of the technology. Periodic transfers allow clients to increase the size of their portfolio at predetermined times and intervals, and promote regular investing and reduce the impact of short-term price volatility.

Robo Advisor automatically rebalances clients' portfolios based on the performance of the assets in the portfolio and conducts periodic reviews to maintain risk tolerance and target portfolio allocation.

Rolandas Juteika, Head of Weath & Trading (EEE) at Revolut, commented, "We are pleased to add Robo Advisor to our suite of wealth management and trading products. We know that many of our clients don't have the time to manage a portfolio or invest in individual securities. What's more, 53% of clients we surveyed last year said they simply don't know where to start when it comes to investing. We want to make investing more accessible and give our clients the opportunity to make their money work for them, which we believe will be a stress-free solution. We are now actively working on expanding the range of investment options available through Robo Advisor and integrating even more financial planning tools."
